Nyabitare Primary School

For three years St Stephen's worked with Nyabitare Primary school in the East of Rwanda. We produced a book together and introduced pupils to poetry. Year 5 and 6 worked on a Peace project linked to the WW2 Holocost and the Rwandan genocide. Pupils had pen pals in the school and shared experiences of school and local life. We also developed a whole school gardening project and shared our journey with Nyabitare who have had school gardening for a long time.
